Yin Yoga is for those of us who do too much!

Yin Yoga is for those of us who may desire a more comfortable body to live in, both physically and mentally.

Yin Yoga classes have a much slower pace, and the postures are primarily passive in nature. They are held and supported using props, anywhere from one minute to five or six minutes, in order to target the body’s tight connective tissues, rather than muscle groups. The connective tissue (or fascia) fits like a sleeve around much of the body’s joints, muscles and internal organs, giving us support and shape.

A regular weekly practice of Yin Yoga will give you a chance to ‘slow down and smell the roses’. At the same time, by working on any tight uncomfortable areas in the body which we would normally avoid (of which we all have many!), a feeling of spaciousness within and around the body may result, encouraging a sense of well being, good health and comfort.

In a world that is increasingly more go-go-go, or yang in nature, Yin Yoga can provide you with that much needed balance between Yin and Yang in your day to day living.

Yin Yoga Classes

This class is EITHER payable by the term (terms include school holidays) OR as a casual.

Payment is by the term (see below) at $12/class, a deposit of $40 secures your place for the next term.
If spaces available the option is there to join throughout the term.

Casual class – $15 cash. Casual classes run all year.

Wednesday 7:30pm – 8:30pm (60mins) YIN YOGA , Last class for 2018, 19 Dec – Starts back 9 Jan 2019 

Term 4: 26 Sept – 19 Dec 2018 – (13 weeks) = $156

Term 1: 9 Jan – 24 April 2019 (15 weeks) = $180
